As London is home to the renowned West End, I have been able to take advantage of the countless plays and musicals being performed for months on end. Before coming to London, I had seen plays and musicals before in the States but London has revolutionized my love and appreciation for theatrical work. I have gained a whole new level of appreciation for the work and intricate detail that goes into these performances.
Amongst all the ways I have grown and things I have taken away from the experience of studying abroad, I can say that the semester abroad has exposed and reignited passions and loves that have been more stagnant in my life before coming abroad. Theater being one of them.

Before departure, I made a list of the shows I wanted to see. I was fortunate enough to check those off plus seeing some extras that I didn’t think I would be able to see. My favorite show I have been to has been Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Seeing some of my childhood come to life was another pinch-me moment.
