Hi all,
My name is Ali Koehl and I am a senior from Otsego, MI. I am studying psychology and Chinese studies. During my time at Hope I have been most involved in Asian Student Union, Hope’s Adoptee Organization, FACES, psychology research, and the Center for Diversity and Inclusion as the diversity educator.
As a Chinese adoptee who grew up in Michigan, I have always been curious about my Chinese roots and have been learning Mandarin since I was little. As I am ending my time as an undergraduate student, I could not pass up the opportunity to study abroad at Singapore Management University! With Singapore being a mix of many different Asian cultures, I am excited to explore and learn throughout my semester by taking my courses, visiting museums, and making new friends. I am excited to share this experience with you!
