Hey everyone!
My name is Emi Herman, I’m from Waukegan, IL, and I’m so excited to take you along on my study abroad journey. I’m currently a senior majoring in both Theatre and English at Hope, and will be in London this fall to continue my studies for both majors.
The element I am probably most excited about is learning the different ways the arts are viewed in England versus in the United States. My new adventures through museums, architecture, street art, performances, literature, and everything in between will help shape how I view my life as an artist. I obviously can’t wait to see live theatre again after this long year and a half without it, and studying in London will help build some new perspectives on my own involvement in that world. Additionally, I am ecstatic to immerse myself in the rich history of literature throughout London and delving into that realm of my passions.
