Final Thoughts for a Phenomenal Year

I cannot believe the time has come…. I’m officially done with my sophomore year. As I sit and reflect this past year, I could not be more thankful than to have spent my time at Hope College. I have grown in so many aspects of my life. The new friends I have made this year will always hold a special place in heart. I truly am grateful for the many blessings God poured out onto me this year. The inviting and loving community at Hope helped me grow in my relationship with God. Hope College offers more than just a great education; it also provides an awesome atmosphere for people to grow in their faith.

I love to goof off with my best friends and also be able to grow spiritually with them. College is such a unique experience, because you laugh, learn, play, sleep, grow, discover, study, and develop into the person you wish to be all with people surrounding you. This past year has been such a blast, and the list of fun and memorable moments never ends. Junior year has a lot of high expectations already.

I am already excited to start off the new year and spend time with my friends. I don’t even want to begin to think about graduating my senior year. Hope has played such a huge role in my life, and I have only been here two years. I cannot even imagine the impact it will have served on my life after four years. I believe each year will only improve. This summer I am going to take some time to write down some goals for me during the school year. I want to be able to look back at my goals and see what I accomplished. I believe every day holds an opportunity for growth and development, and right now in my life Hope College is providing me a solid foundation for it.

Words cannot express how thankful I am to be at such an awesome place. I believe college is helping to mold and shape me into the person God wants me to be.
