The Klooster Center will offer a workshop to help juniors generate good ideas so that they’re ready to write their best possible application essays next fall. The workshop will be held Wednesday, April 16, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m, and repeated on Thursday, April 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Both sessions will take place in the Granberg Room, on the second floor of Van Wylen Library.
Important: The Library (and thus the Klooster Center) will be closed over all of Easter weekend (from Thursday, April 17 at 5pm until Sunday, April 20 at 5pm). This will make the surrounding days and times very busy, so make your appointments soon!
Join us at 3:00 p.m. today when we will gather to celebrate and dedicate the writing center in honor of a former Hope professor. The CWR is about to become The David J. Klooster Center for Excellence in Writing! Gathering music begins at 2:45; the ceremony will last about 20 minutes. A reception follows, to which everyone is invited.
