Hope handled this past academic year really well. Between the testing, safety protocols and online events, Hope was able to have a somewhat normal semester. This year has been a whole new experience, yet what matters the most stayed the same.
Kurt Oosterhouse ‘90 was unprepared for college, but he was determined to take advantage of every opportunity given to him. The faculty and staff at Hope College guided him every step of the way to help him succeed.
Ernie always regarded his education to be the foundation for all that he was able to achieve in his professional life. His final gift has established the Ernest Haight ‘51 Summer Research in Engineering Fund and provided the resources necessary for the Engineering Lab Renovation Fund.
President Matthew Scogin imagines a Hope College where students Pay It Forward and the scholarship endowment can fully fund each student’s tuition for all four years on campus.
