Life at Hope College

Hope College 3.0

The time has finally arrived… Junior year. I do not feel old enough to be a Junior. It feels like just yesterday we arrived to Hope in my mom’s jam-packed minivan. I remember the anxious thoughts and feelings I had about college.

It’s funny because when I came to school this year I now wonder:

It’s crazy to think how much I have changed and grown from only two years ago. I feel like I learn something new about myself everyday here. College really helps you discover who you are and what you need to do to become the person you wish to be. I know that two years ago, I had totally different expectations of myself during college. Now I am learning to find my identity in Christ and have grown so much in my faith because of the Hope community.

I love the people here and honestly believe I have the best friends in the world! The other night some of my friends and I took a nice trip to the beach. We watched the sunset, jumped off the pier, swam in the lake, and of course, ate ice cream at Captain Sundae afterwards. I love spending time with my friends and doing all sorts of fun adventures. This year is going to be a great year, and I am looking forward to new experiences. I’ll keep my blog updated regularly so you can follow all of the awesome adventures happening at Hope College.
