Writer David Shields will give the last reading of this semester’s Jack Ridl Visiting Writers Series on Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. in the Knickerbocker Theatre. Shields has authored 10 books, including New York Times bestseller The Thing About Life Is That One Day You’ll Be Dead and the February 2010 release Reality Hunger: A Manifesto.
Shields has also written many essays, short stories, and book reviews, which have been featured in Harper’s, Village Voice, and the Boston Globe.
