Many of my favorite memories involve goofing off with the human gems that I have had the pleasure of knowing through Vanderprov. If laughter does indeed add years to your life, every single person involved with this group over the years has made sure that I have a long life to live.

I have had almost 900 sleepovers with my freshman year roommate. I’m thankful for the people that God handpicked to share this special time with!

One of my favorite parts about Hope is the community. The psychology professors have made a lasting impact on me and what I have learned in their classes. Also forever thankful to Doc for leading the Vienna Summer School trip every summer. It was the best trip of college!

My favorite part about Hope is the community. I have met so many amazing people with whom I will stay in touch with forever. When I was a freshman at Hope, I made some of my closest friends at the first football game, and I would be a completely different person if I had not attended that event. Later that night, I went to my first Waffle House with some of the friends I made at the game. One of those girls ended up becoming my roommate and close friend. I will always remember that day!

Some of my favorite memories were competing with my brothers and chilling on spring break

Hope College gave me the opportunity to find my passion as well as pursue it both on campus and away from Holland. I am so thankful that I am able to confidently throw myself into my vocation and fall in love with it at the same time. I am so thankful for all of my classmates, friends, professors, and mentors who have encouraged me to not just seek my passions, but immerse myself in them. Hope us such a unique, close network of people that is unlike anywhere else I have ever been. I was able to focus on, my health, my career, my friends, my faith, and my family (I have LOVED having my sister at Hope with me and discovering the place my Dad fell in love with years ago), and I am so thankful for all of it. I believe that the blessings that I found at Hope College will stay with me and be a part of the rest of my life. It has been a truly life-altering three and three-and-a-quarter years. (:

Gosh, there are so many beautiful moments to consider! Little Wyckoff Hall was my launching pad at Hope – I met my people, stretched my roots in faith, and developed a stronger sense of self. I feel very much indebted to this space for gifting me with a warm, lasting community. Choosing Hope was my favorite decision yet!

My favorite memories from Hope happened on impromptu trips to the beach. There are few things in this world that are more beautiful than watching a sunset on a beach and laughing with your best friends.

I have made so many memorable memories at Hope that I will forever carry in my heart. I had the amazing opportunity to study abroad in Seville, Spain and Philadelphia, PA with my best friend. I was involve in the Latino Student Organization where I was able to celebrate my beautiful culture among people who became my family. To my friends I have made at Hope, you all fill my heart with so much joy. I am leaving Hope with all of your wonderful friendships that I will forever cherish. I hope I was able to bring you all joy like you have all brought me! THANK YOU guys for making my experience at Hope memorable, los quiero!

One of my absolute favorite memories from college is still when I met these friends on my very first day. None of us could have guessed that the other people sitting at the lab table that day would turn into the most wonderful, lifelong friends. I have been pushed, loved, encouraged, and challenged by every single person I have met at Hope, and I am thankful for every lab table, car ride, discussion group, and help session that has let me meet so many wonderful people.
