Skiing Round 2!

Hey Everyone! Spring is in t-minus 2 days, and I am so pumped! Spring is in the air here at Hope College and everyone is anxiously awaiting the first buds of springtime. Tulip Time is slowly creeping around the corner, and I could not be happier. These past couple of days have been really fun. I skied last weekend with my dad and sister at Boyne Mountain. We stayed at the lodge by the mountain and enjoyed some great food and fun skiing. The lodge had some really good food; I ate a pound of crab, and it was delicious!

The mountains and trees in Northern Michigan were absolutely gorgeous. On Sunday morning, I woke up early and went outside and sat in the hot tub and watched the sunrise. I had a very relaxing weekend get away and enjoyed spending time with my dad and sister. My sister will not be home during my spring break so I am glad I got to see her for a little bit before Easter.

On Sunday, when my dad drove me back to Hope, he took me and my friend Amy out to eat. I love when parents visit because it means I get a free meal at any restaurant. We ate lunch at 8th Street Grille downtown, and it was delicious! My weekend was so much fun and I cannot wait for spring break!
