Hope Summer Repertory Theatre receives a Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs grant

The Hope Summer Repertory Theatre (HSRT) received a $21,000 grant from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs (MCACA) to support the 2022 season!  Funding will support the seven production, three venue season with productions of “Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” “Much Ado About Nothing,” “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime,” “Hold These Truths,” “Little Women,” “Freaky Friday,” and a newly commissioned Theatre for Young Audiences Play from a playwright who is a member of a historically marginalized community.

Each year, HSRT employs approximately 100 professional artists and technicians from around the country and typically engages over 5,000 unique audience members. HSRT audiences represent a diverse cross-section from communities primarily located in Ottawa, Kent, and Allegan counties and offer a great opportunity to share artistic talent with others.

Congratulations on your MCACA award, HSRT!
