Greetings from Amman, Jordan!
My name is Leah Cooper, and I am a senior at Hope College studying Global Studies and Spanish. Just seven minutes up the road from Hope is my hometown Zeeland, Michigan, so I am overjoyed to get out of my comfort zone and spend a semester in Amman, Jordan.
In Amman, I will be studying refugee health and humanitarian action, spending time with local NGO’s and even in Geneva, Switzerland at the United Nations! I cannot wait to share my experiences with language, politics, and culture in Jordan, and I am grateful you’re along for the ride!
