My name is Lauren Schiller, and I am a sophomore double majoring in Communication and Chinese Studies. I am from Oxford, MI though I lived in China for a few years when I was younger. Since then, I’ve wanted to study abroad and continue seeing the world. I am excited to spend this semester in Prague in the CIEE Communication and New Media program!
At Hope, I have been involved with the Anchor, TEDxHopeCollege, and Students Demand Action for Gun Safety. I also work as a Writing Assistant at the Klooster Center for Excellence in Writing. In my free time, I enjoy reading, bouldering, and being with friends and family.
I can’t wait to explore Prague and its fascinating history. I’ve heard it is one of the most beautiful European cities and am eager to see it firsthand! I am also excited to learn about communication in a different cultural context – both in the classroom and in an internship setting. I hope you’ll follow along on my journey!
