Keri Haddrill ’20 – New York Arts Program

Hi, my name is Keri Haddrill and I’m a Junior here at Hope!

I’m majoring in English (with a Creative Writing emphasis!) and minoring in Mathematics (weird combination, I know). Being an English major, I of course love reading and writing, specifically Young Adult and fantasy books. I am also a big fan of dark chocolate, coffee, cereal without milk, and the TV shows Merlin and Avatar: The Last Airbender. I also have a weakness for superhero TV shows and movies. On campus, I work in both Math Lab and the Writing Center. I also co-founded Hope’s book club, Anchored in the Pages.

I have lived my entire life in Ann Arbor, MI (excluding the past few semesters in Holland), so I’m ecstatic to be spending an entire semester living in the big city of New York! I will be participating in the New York Arts Program, specifically in the subdivision of Writing and Communications, where I will be spending most of my time interning!
