Hello, world! I am Emma DesLauriers-Knop and I am a sophomore International Studies and Global French Studies double major. I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Apple Valley, Minnesota but I can now confidently call Hope my home.I am an alum of the Phelps Scholars Program and also a former Nykerk 21 Song Girl. Presently I am a member of Chapel Choir and am a Teaching Assistant for a French 101 class.
In my free time I enjoy reading, studying foreign languages, and drinking large amounts of good coffee. In Paris I hope to learn more about the ins and outs of the city as well as improve my French skills. I look forward to reconnecting with several friends who live in France and also do lots of exploring of the city, country, and as many other places in Europe as I can. Aside from that, I am also excited to be able to hear people pronounce my French last name correctly and drink as much café au lait as possible!
