Hi everyone,
My name is Alondra Gomez. This is my third year studying Comprehensive Spanish Education (Elementary Track) and I am preparing for my spring semester in Puebla, Mexico. Being from Holland, Michigan I’m pretty nervous about going outside of the country on my own for the first time. But I know this trip will be a great opportunity to mature as a student and learn more about my own culture as a Mexican and Spanish speaker.
At first, attending a university in a large city was not in my plans. It seemed so intimidating, however, the more I learned about UPAEP, how similar their mission is to Hope, and the beautiful historically paved city of Puebla, the more I realized this was the place I wanted continue my education.
