BiblioBoard

We recently subscribed to BiblioBoard®, a digital library consisting of collections of books, images, articles, audio, and video. BiblioBoard® is built around the user experience, allowing access from anywhere on a well-designed platform available via the web or on mobile devices.

What you get: There is a lot of content, millions of pages of primary source documents and a growing number of traditional publisher content, in fact. But, don’t feel overwhelmed! BiblioBoard® is curated by subject and designed to be easily searched. Browse through Art, Business, Biography, Drama, Religion, Science or even Comics & Graphic Novels! There are too many subjects to list here, so visit the site to begin your search.

In addition to the core collection, Hope users have access to two modules, African American History and British Library 19th Century Collection. Learn about the “Rise of Student Activism” in the segregated south. Peruse 200 years of art history with the African American Artists anthology. Take a peek at “Gypsy Life: A 19th Century View” and browse through fiction, poetry, articles, and more. Ever wonder what bicycling was like in 19th century Britain? Wonder no more!

Who can access it: Hope students, staff, and faculty can access BiblioBoard® from the web or on a mobile device, either on-campus or off.

How to access it: For access, visit this link directly. When off-campus you will be prompted to authenticate with your 1Hope username and password.

The platform is accessible using modern web browsers. The BiblioBoard Library app is also available on iPad®, Kindle Fire HD®, Nexus tablets®and Galaxy Tab® (4.0+) mobile devices.
